Would You Like to Know God Personally?

What does it take to begin a relationship with God?

God has made it very clear in the Bible how we can know Him.

The following principles will explain how you can personally begin a relationship with God, right now, through Jesus Christ.

Realize that There is None Good

Romans 3:10 – “As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:”

Know that You are a Sinner

Romans 3:23 – “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;”

Romans 5:12 – “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:”

Notice God’s Price on Sin

Romans 6:23 – “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Understand that Christ Died for You

Romans 6:23 – “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

See that You can Claim Salvation

Romans 10:9-11 – “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.”

John 3:16 – “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Believe that You can Take God at His Word

Romans 10:13 – “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

Live Knowing that You can Have Confidence in Him

I John 5:11-13 – “And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.”
